Cycling can be one of the easiest ways to stay happily healthy. There’s no better feeling than being facing that fresh air on the face while going downhill and watching that rising sun. Love that tickling sweat while pedaling hard for the hard uphills! Cycling makes me smile. Try it and I am sure it will make you smile too.

Best stress buster:

Cycling boosts the production of chemicals serotonin, dopamine in the brain which helps in keeping the depression away.

Setting aside a specific time to ride a bicycle when you’re amidst a stressful time of your life might not be your priority but trust me, you will love taking that one hour out and spending it on two wheels. Riding a bicycle is useful for your brain and your body too.

Sit on the saddle and kick off your stress and enjoy your ride!


Easy on the hip and knee joints:

Cycling is a low effect type of exercise which puts little pressure and weight on your joints, so it’s simpler on your lower legs, knees and back than exercises like Zumba, aerobics and high impact exercise classes.

It’s easy on hip and knee joints and gives full movement to the legs. As compared to running, cycling engages the leg muscles without much strain. It doesn’t put much stress on the knees. You will gradually notice the change in the muscle tone of your legs, thighs, and hips.


Good cardio which really helps in saving the environment:

It tones your legs. Take it off road and it will tone your arms too. You’ll even notice your core tightening up. And perhaps most importantly, it’s good for your heart and lungs. It helps in reducing blood cholesterol thus reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease.

One can take up cycle for work, to buy groceries( like I do 😉 ) and contribute little towards the environment saving.
